Understanding the problem
Water pouring from a pipe, a bathroom flooding or a toilet backing up? Call us with your postcode and what has happened. We will check the right specialist and the next available visit.
An active leak can damage floors, walls and electrics before the source is obvious. Tell us where the water is coming from, whether you can turn it off and whether it is affecting another property. We check the scope and availability before agreeing a visit.
When the problem is visible, a plumber may be able to isolate the supply and assess a repair. Hidden leaks, drain obstructions and boiler faults can need different equipment or a separate specialist. We explain the proposed next step and its price before work starts.
Urgent plumbing problems we can assess
For burst pipes and flooded rooms, note where water is escaping and whether the main stopcock or a local valve has stopped it. A leaking radiator or pipe may need isolation before any repair. Keep clear of electrical appliances or switches near water.
A blocked toilet, sink or drain can cause wastewater to back up into a bathroom or kitchen. Stop using the affected fixtures and tell us whether more than one outlet is involved. We check whether a plumber or drainage specialist is needed. Do not keep flushing a blocked toilet.
Low water pressure or no water can have several causes, including a local supply interruption or a fault within the property. Check whether neighbouring properties are affected if it is safe to do so. For no heating or hot water, tell us the boiler or system type. Any gas work is carried out and signed off by registered subcontractors under their own registration and company name.

What to do while you wait
If water is escaping, turn off the main stopcock if you can reach it safely. It is often under the kitchen sink, but its position varies. For a leak at one fixture, a nearby isolation valve may limit the flow. Keep people away from wet sockets, lights and appliances; do not handle wet electrics.
Move belongings away from water where it is safe. Take a photo of the affected area and note when the problem started. If wastewater is coming up through a drain, keep children and pets away from it and avoid using that drain. These steps help us assess the issue; they do not replace an on-site inspection.
Water and electrics do not mix.
Keep clear of wet sockets and appliances. Only turn off the water where you can reach the valve safely.
Call 0203 0515337How we arrange an urgent visit
Call with your postcode, a contact number, the affected room or appliance and whether you have isolated the water. Photos of the leak, stopcock or boiler fault code can help us direct the enquiry. We check the right trade and a suitable available appointment before confirming attendance.
The first visit may be to stop immediate damage and diagnose the cause. If the repair needs parts, specialist leak detection or drainage equipment, we will explain the scope and arrange or quote for the next step. We confirm a time rather than promise an arrival window that may not be available.

Cost and follow-up repairs
The standard hourly plumbing rate shown here applies to the listed work. It has a one-hour minimum and subsequent time is charged in 30-minute increments; parts and parking are extra. Ask us to confirm the applicable rate and any call-out or out-of-hours charge before agreeing to a visit.
Once the immediate problem is controlled, follow-up work can include replacing damaged pipework, checking a hidden leak or repairing a drain. We can review photographs and findings from the first visit, then explain what further work needs a separate quote.

Frequently asked questions
What should I do when a pipe bursts?
Turn off the main stopcock if you can reach it safely. Keep clear of wet electrical fittings, move belongings away from the water and tell us whether the flow has stopped.
Can you help with a flooded bathroom or kitchen?
Tell us what is flooding, whether the water supply is isolated and whether another property is affected. We will assess the right trade and available visit before confirming attendance.
Can an emergency plumber clear a blocked toilet or drain?
Tell us which fixtures are blocked and whether wastewater is backing up. We will check whether a plumber or drainage specialist and equipment are needed before confirming the visit.
What if I have low water pressure or no water?
Check whether neighbouring properties have the same problem if safe and practical, then tell us which taps or rooms are affected. We can review whether the issue appears to be within your property before booking a plumber.
Can you help when I have no heating or hot water?
Tell us the boiler or heating system type, any fault code and whether there is a leak. We assess the enquiry; registered subcontractors carry out and sign off any gas work under their own registration and company name.
Are emergency plumbers available 24 hours a day?
Please call to ask whether an out-of-hours or bank-holiday visit can be arranged. We will confirm the available time and any extra charge before booking.
How quickly can a plumber reach me?
We cannot promise a one-hour arrival. Give us your postcode and the problem so we can check availability and confirm a realistic appointment before you book.
What will an emergency visit cost? Is there a call-out fee?
The listed plumbing rate has a one-hour minimum, then 30-minute increments; parts and parking are extra. We confirm the applicable visit rate and any call-out or out-of-hours charge before you agree to the work.
Can you arrange repairs after the immediate problem is controlled?
Yes. Ask us to review what the first visit found. We can discuss a further repair, a hidden-leak survey or drainage work and quote for the agreed scope.
Need help with a leak?
Call about the problem or send the details. We will confirm scope, timing and price before any visit.
